Flyrtle

Home of Florida's Largest Probe/MX6/MX3 meet.
Upcoming Flyrtle: September 24-26, 2010

Started in 2005, Flyrtle is an annual Probe/MX6/MX3 meet located in West Palm Beach, FL. It started as a little get together to join the Orlando and SFL groups in one place. It has blossomed into a statewide meet drawing visitors from all reaches of the sunshine state and beyond. For the past three years it's attendance has grown to include many other states, some come from as far away as Las Vegas and Virginia to attend the meet. It's great to see people making the trip to enjoy Florida's thriving Probe/MX6/MX3 scene as well as some of the nicest Probe/MX6/MX3s from around the country. The scene here is unlike any other in the country and has become the capital of the boosted KL community boasting high counts of well tuned, very fast boosted KLs.

Can't wait to see Flyrtle 6.0 September 24-26, 2010. This year we'll be having it at Lincoln College and combining the Dyno Day and Show/Meet on the same day. Lincoln Tech has the ideal facilities to host such a packed event. The night before the event we have our own class reserved at the track for the Imports vs Domestics event. They won't know what hit them when we show up.

Where the crazy name came from: One of the goals of the first Flyrtle was to get everyone all hyped up for the national probe meet called Myrtle Madness. Initially Flyrtle had no name, but people kept jokingly referring to it as a pre-Myrtle Flyrtle and eventually the name stuck. 2007 marked the end of Myrtle Madness. Flyrtle will continue to carry on in 2009 and beyond. It has developed a personality all its own welcoming not just Probes/MX6s, but all enthusiasts.
